LIMITED LIFETIME RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY (WATER-RESISTANT LAMINATE)

This Limited Warranty is provided to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”) and applies only to laminate flooring installed in owner-occupied residential applications.

The manufacturer warrants that, under normal residential use and when properly installed and maintained in accordance with all written instructions:

  • The product will be free from manufacturing defects; and

  • The wear layer will not wear through, stain, or fade due to exposure to natural or artificial light.

Definition of Wear:

“Wear” is defined as the complete removal of the decorative layer over an area of at least two (2) square inches. Scratches, reduction in gloss, indentations, or surface damage are not considered wear.

If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, the manufacturer, at its sole discretion, will either:

  1. Repair the affected area;

  2. Replace the affected product with the same or comparable product; or

  3. Refund the original purchase price of the affected material on a prorated basis.

This warranty does not include labor, installation, removal, or any incidental or consequential costs.

If the original product is unavailable, a product of equal or similar value and specifications will be provided.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original Purchaser.

LIMITED 15-YEAR COMMERCIAL WARRANTY

This Limited Warranty applies to laminate flooring installed in light commercial applications.

The manufacturer warrants that, for a period of fifteen (15) years from the date of purchase, the product will:

  • Be free from manufacturing defects; and

  • Not wear through, stain, or fade under normal commercial use.

Limitations:
This warranty does not apply to areas subject to heavy traffic, heavy rolling loads, or extreme conditions, including but not limited to entryways, commercial kitchens, or industrial environments.

Remedy:
In the event of a valid claim, the manufacturer will, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or refund the affected material on a prorated basis. Labor and incidental costs are excluded.

LIMITED WATER-RESISTANCE WARRANTY (200 HOURS)

The product is warranted to resist damage from topical moisture exposure provided that spills are removed within two hundred (200) hours.

This warranty applies only to topical moisture and does not cover:

  • Standing water beyond the stated time period;

  • Flooding, plumbing failures, or natural disasters;

  • Moisture originating from subfloors or hydrostatic pressure;

  • Mold or mildew resulting from prolonged moisture exposure.

INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

This warranty is valid only if:

  • The product is installed strictly in accordance with manufacturer instructions;

  • Installation is completed over an approved subfloor and environment;

  • The product is used indoors only;

  • The environment is climate-controlled at all times.

Required Conditions:

  • Temperature: 65°F – 85°F

  • Relative Humidity: 35% – 55%

Failure to maintain these conditions voids this warranty.

Maintenance Requirements:

  • Regular sweeping or vacuuming (without beater bar);

  • No wet mopping or excessive moisture;

  • Use of manufacturer-approved cleaning products only;

  • No wax, polish, or abrasive cleaners.

Failure to follow maintenance guidelines voids this warranty.

INSPECTION AND CLAIM PROCEDURE

The Purchaser must inspect all materials prior to installation. Installation of any product constitutes acceptance of its condition.

Claims must:

  • Be submitted in writing with proof of purchase;

  • Include photographs and description of the issue;

  • Be reported within thirty (30) days of discovery.

No claims will be accepted for materials installed with visible defects.

EXCLUSIONS FROM COVERAGE

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Improper installation or maintenance

  • Negligence, misuse, or abuse

  • Accidents, impacts, or mechanical damage

  • Scratches, dents, or cuts

  • Pet damage

  • Furniture without proper protective pads

  • Rolling loads without protective mats

  • Fire, smoke, or extreme heat

  • Flooding, plumbing leaks, or water intrusion

  • Mold or mildew

  • Acts of God, including storms and natural disasters

  • Unauthorized alterations or modifications

  • Normal wear and tear outside defined “wear”

Color variations, gloss differences, and batch differences are not considered defects.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or replacement costs beyond the original product value.

  • The remedies stated herein are the sole and exclusive remedies available to the Purchaser.

DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES

Except where prohibited by law:

  • All implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this Limited Warranty.

  • No dealer, retailer, installer, or distributor has authority to modify or extend this warranty.

NON-TRANSFERABILITY

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original Purchaser of the product.

GOVERNING LAW

This warranty shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state in which the product is installed.
